"Located at Grand and Russell Avenues on the east side of the street, the large reservoir wall was designed by Guy Study. The arrangement of steps and wall fountains is in the manner of those in the gardens of Italian villas." ~ St. Louis Parks Department

The stairs lead up to the reservoir, and up until 1940s you could go on top, because there were tennis courts up there. These fountain were for drinking in the past, the land around the reservoir is a city park. The small face is on the lower landing, and the bearded one on the top.
