This sign is up on the hill coming from US81 on NY26 heading east toward the river. You can't miss it.

The dam referred to is the Whitney Point Reservoir built after the flooding in the 1930's. Dorchester Park is beside the reservoir which has boating and swimming and fishing. The north end in Lisle is the best birding in the county.
