The Turtle Playground is located on the waters edge on the Esplanade in Bargara, Queensland. This is a sweet little playground for the children made from a big cement turtle, covered with shade sails. Children can clamber through the turtle's mouth which resembles a cave, and into its open-air belly which contains a little water channel which flows into the mouth of a whale. Children can slide down the turtle's flipper, or chat to one another through fish connector tubes. And the beach is a stone throw away.
