Die aufwendig gefaßte Egerquelle liegt 150 m westlich der Kreisstraße WUN 1 Weißenstadt-Bischofsgrün am Nordwestabhang des Schneebergs auf 752 m Höhe.
Die Egerquelle ist als Naturdenkmal erfaßt.
Die Quellfassung besteht aus roh behauenen Granitsteinen.
Sie symbolisieren die Städte, die zur Finanzierung der Quellfassung beitrugen.
In unmittelbarer Nähe laden Bänke und Tische zur Rast ein.
Motorisierte Fahrzeuge können auf dem Parkplatz Egerquelle entlang der WUN1 bei N50 04.538 E11 49.710 abgestellt werden

Please post an original picture of the springs no GPS necessary along with your observations of the spring. What wildlife you saw if any and the condition of the springs. Water level was high, low. The area was clean, trashy ect. Any other knowledge or experiences you have had with this paticular spring that would help document it's history.
