Four sided clock on a metal post. The white faces have black letters that spell "Sam Houston" instead of the usual numbers. This 16' clock is green with gold accents.

Located in the SHSU Alumni Garden which is on the northern edge of the campus mall between the Lowman Student Center and Rather Communication Building. This Howard clock was installed in 2003.
The cast bronze plaque on the clock post: Presented to the SHSU Alumni Association through the benevolence of Ruth and Ron Blachley Class of 1968 & 1969.
