Greene County Civil War Memorial - Waynesburg, Pennsylvania



This Memorial was erected by the County of Greene after the Civil War in memory of her soldiers and sailors of the Civil War. The "Freedom Statue" is loocated at the top of the memorial, followed by four pillars below of Infantry, Calvary, Artillery and Sailor Soldiers. At the very bottom of the statue it reads:

Erected by the County of Greene
in grateful memory of her
Soldiers and Sailors
of the War for the Union
