The depicted granite slab, set in the wall in close proximity of Tower in London, commemorates the reopening of the reconstructed public spaces of the Tower Hill by Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II in 9th July 2004.

The Tower of London is one of London's most popular and iconic tourist attractions. Built by William the Conquerer in the early 1080s the Towers role has been as a fortress, palace and prison. The adjacent public space was completely reconstructed and renewed in the first years of the 21th century. The new visitors centre was built.

The granite slab bears following inscription:

Queen Elizabeth II was born Princess Elizabeth Alexandra Mary on April 21, 1926, in London, to Prince Albert, Duke of York (later King George VI), and Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon. She married Philip Mountbatten, Duke of Edinburgh in 1947, became queen on February 6, 1952, and was crowned on June 2, 1953. During her reign, she has tried to make the British monarchy more modern and sensitive to the public.
