In Pinehurst, part of the greenway system is in the Rassie Wicker Park. It is just a few blocks from Old Town. The trail system has a variety of surfaces from packed dirt to decomposed granite to asphalt. The bridge crosses a small stream and connects a wooded area with a commons area with a bandstand. The bridge is dedciated to Major Mark Connelly, MD, KIA in 1991. It has a rustic feel with the use of cedar rails and and bannisters.
