Ysbyty Treforys is the Welsh name for Morriston Hospital - One of four major hospitals, in the Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Local Health Board. The board serves a population of about half a million people.
The hospital is continually being upgraded & improved since it first opened in 1942. Some of its buildings currently in use date from 1941.
