The Marilyn Follack dedicated tree is within the Marine Peace Park. This is absolutely beautiful, it overlooks the Shuswap Lake so enjoy your visit and take a stroll down the boardwalk and enjoy the views.

Marine Peace Park was dedicated in 1992, and has become a wonderful destination for locals and tourists.

Some of the features are; a peace pole, World Youth Friendship Garden and even a plaque with a quote by Dag Hammarskjöld from 1954.

Marine Peace Park offers a Nature Center near the parking lot and a boat launch, huge gazebo, a 440 foot fresh water wharf with dock system, many large grassed area with picnic tables and benches (most dedicated), with seasonal concessions, washroom facilities and access to walking trails one of which starts near the boat ramp.
