"This corner commercial building is two stories tall and three bays wide. The front facing Arsenal is nearly symmetrical, but the corner storefront is entered behind a corner iron column that is absent at the left end of the facade. Two original doors to the upstairs units are at a recessed entry at the center of the façade under an open gable hood. The corner storefront retains its historic use but the glass windows are not original. The east storefront is partially boarded. At the second story facing Arsenal there are triple sets of windows at the left and right bays (4/1 windows flanking 6/1 windows). Two 8/1 windows are centered above the entrance. There is a stepped front parapet wall, and the outer bays have short green tile pent roofs turning the corner and also covering the first bay of the west elevation." ~ NRHP Nomination Form
