As the Plaque Reads:

Hon. Charles A. Dunning, 1885-1958

The third premier of Saskatchewan the Hon Charles A Dunning held the office from 1922 until 1926. Coming West in 1902, he rose rapidly in public life, becoming General Manager of the Saskatchewan Co-operative Elevator Company in 1911 and Provincial Treasurer on the Province in 1916.

After six years in various cabinet positions he was named premier in 1926, Dunning resigned to enter the federal cabinet. Defeated in 1930, He entered the world of business then returned to public live as minister of finance from 1935 until 1939.
