EN: The church of Tenniken is located on the hill in the east above the village. It was first mentioned in 1442. It has a sundial between the second and third window of the side wall.
The sundial has a square dial. The gnomon is tightened with stays and mounted in a yellow sun between Alpha and Omega. Above it, the monogram of Christ and the saying: "Dominus veniet qualibet hora" (The Lord is coming at any possible hour).
DE: Die Kirche von Tenniken befindet sich am Hügel östlich über dem Dorf. Sie wurde erstmals 1442 erwähnt. An der Seitenwand befindet sich eine Sonneuhr zwischen dem zweiten und dritten Fenster.
Die Sonnenuhr hat ein quadratisches Zifferblatt. Das mit Streben befestigte Gnomon steckt in einer gelben Sonne zwischen einem Alpha und Omega. Darüber ist das Christusmonogramm und der Spruch: "Dominus veniet qualibet hora" (Der Herr kommt zu jeder möglichen Stunde).
