"Engine 211 has 1,500 gallon per minute pump, and carries a 1,000 gallons of water. It is also equipped with a Compressed Air Foam System (CAFS) which uses Class A Foam for fighting ordinary combustible fires whether it is a structure fire or a woods fire. The engine also has a 10kw generator and a extend-a-gun deluge gun which allows for flowing water above the cab of the truck. The cab has seating for the driver, the office and three firefighters with compartments for medical response equipment. The trucks front grill has the first state flag grill in North Carolina, the rear compartment has a 9/11 memorial tribute to include the World Trade Center and all of the responding fire units that lost members during the World Trade Center attacks. The emblem is outlined by a pentagon in remembrance of the attacks on the U.S. Pentagon. Engine 211 is housed at Station 1 & responds to all 1st due in Station 1 district."
