Wilson Homestead - The Pines
1901-1932

In 1901 Robert and Mary E. Raynolds Wilson and their daughters Lucile, Grace and Daisy, came from Nebraska to homestead here at "The Pines". While Robert built their three story home surrounded by his award winning garden and orchard, Mary, known affectionately to all, as Mumsy, established the nearby Crystal Lake Library. A unique cultural center with recreational grounds, their home and the library became a social center for this frontier farming community.

Erected 1993 by The Wilson Hill Historical Society.
