As the Plaque Reads:

Harry Moody

Born in Selkirk, Manitoba, in 1888, Richard Henry Moody was a pioneer prospector and merchant of Amisk Lake where he settled in 1928. Through his study of Indian handicrafts and collection of artifacts he contributed to the development of the Denare Beach Museum. For many years he searched out local historic sites, his most important discovery being the 1775 Henry - Frobisher Fort on Amisk Lake.
