The Fisher house is a multi unit dwelling today, however still retains much of the character when originally built. Waterman and Erastus owned this farm during the period when they bought out the Fisher Manufacturing Company in the 1840's. The house was originally located on Main St and later moved to this spot on Ferry St. It is one of few remaining farmhouses in the vicinity representing the agricultural roots of the area before the many textile mills began appearing.
