Northern Leopard Frog by talented artists Kevin Kratz and James Karthein is the People's Choice Award winners in the Castlegar Sculpture Walk in 2014. In 2012, they also won the People's Choice award for Patient Hunter.
This is an outstanding sculpture with attention to detail down to the tips of the toes.
The Northern Leopard Frog, once observed in many locations in the southeast portion of the British Columbia and the Okanagan Valley, the frogs are now found in only one historical location. They are now on the endangered list for British Columbia and Alberta.
