"The East Rockingham Fire Department is made up of approximately 32 dedicated volunteer firefighters that are committed to serving their community through emergency fire services. The department serves an area of about 30 square miles with the East Rockingham community being the central location. All members are highly trained and attend advanced training courses annually. Fire Chief Mitchell Watson, along with all members of East Rockingham FireDepartment, have committed to service of their community with the protection of life, property and fire prevention education."
