V této podobe doprovází Hélia až k západním brehum Ókeanu a mení se v Hespera (syna Éós a Astraia), cili Vecernici, první vecerní hvezdu.

S Tithónem mela dva syny: Emathióna a Memnona.

With second husband Tithonian, son of the king of Troy Láomedonta lived at the end of the world. She begged him to Zeus immortality but forgot to ask for him and eternal youth, so before her eyes grew old and eventually shrunk into a cicada (him or herself transformed into a cicada).

The Tithonian had two sons: Emathióna and Memnon. Memnon for the Trojan war came to their aid directly to his uncle, he became supreme commander of the Trojan forces, but fell in a duel with Achilles. Eos transferred his body to Ethiopia. Every morning dew appears on earth - the tears shed Eos over her dead son.
