Right on top of 'Pilot Hill' at Harrington, is an information board, with the Maritime History, on one side, and the Natural Attractions on the other side. This also shows where you are! If in doubt, there is a trig, and a geocache NEAR by.

There is a lot of information about the Pilot Station that was at Harrington, about the Breakwall(s), the MANY shipwrecks, the LARGEST shipyard in the Southern Hemisphere (just 5 km south) at Manning Point, and a couple of the historic buildings of Harrington.
On the map side with the list of Attraction, it lists: Aboriginal Homelands, Crowdy Bay National Park, the Little Terns (nesting grounds - here, and Manning Point), Harrington Lagoon Walk, and the more recent Cattai Wetlands Project.
The Mid North Coast Mob also maintains a great series of geocaches, with the 'trail' coming through Harrington, and up through Crowdy Bay National Park to Laurieton.
