The Corrugated Vehicles are the artwork of Jeff Thomson and are on display at various places around the country. We spotted them in the Airport Lounge at Rotorua at the given co-ords but you will have to search galleries to see them or inquire at Rotorua Museum in Government Gardens.
Jeff Thomson is known as the Iron Man of Australasia and uses unique processes to create his corrugated iron masterpieces.
These two vehicles, "Tin Min" a 1998 Mini and "Morris Minor" a 1992 model, are clad in used corrugated iron sheets. They were on display at Rotorua Museum and will feature in other displays around the country.
The Helensville artist’s work can be seen around the country – from gateposts (iron letterboxes) to galleries. He has a gallery in Helensville.
