The smaller of the two mosaic columns is about 4 feet tall, while the larger is about 7 feet tall. The smaller column has a blue and white ceramic bird on top. It also includes designs featuring two musical instruments, a piano and a French horn. The taller column has a nice decorative pattern but doesn't have any specific design features; however, it includes tiles with the names of different areas of Jacksonville, including Springfield, Southbank, Murray Hill, and Moncrief.
