The bridge was built in 1957. It crosses the Blackstone River and is at the location of the Fisherville Mill that burned down in 1999. The bridge road has two wide lanes. At the four corners of the bridge there are decorative street lights. The date plaque is found on the concrete uprights which the street lights are mounted
