Monumental neo-Renaissance Teatro Colón (Columbus Theatre), the most famous opera house in Latin America, is one of landmarks of the Argentinian metropolis Buenos Aires. The theatre is bounded by the Cerrito Street, Libertad Street (the main entrance), Arturo Toscanini Street, and Tucumán Street in Buenos Aires downtown.
Buenos Aires is the capital and largest city of Argentina, and the second-largest metropolitan area in South America, after Greater São Paulo.
