Union County water system cover the majority of Union Co. Water supply is pulled from rivers in the county such as the Rocky River. The water tower is one of many in the county.

The system supplies resdential and commercial interest in Union Co. In addition, the local municipalities purchase water for their distribution systems. This water tower design is called "cupcake" related to shape of tank at top.
