"To the east of the Plant Science Building are: Emerson Hall (1968) and Bradfield Hall (agronomy) (1968) also designed by Ulrich Franzen to complement his MVR north wing. Fernow Hall (1915) was built as consolation by New York State in the wake of the closure of the New York State College of Forestry at Cornell to house an environmental sciences program. "
