When I visited Casino (Northern NSW) in May, 2015, the newsagency was non-functional, and the building up for lease. The 1907 year is placed in an unusually shaped cement/plaster 'tulip', inside a double brick circle.

Some of the brick work of the two-storey building looks like the mortar has eroded away, leaving what looks like cracks in the buttressing of the facade.
