In Freeport, along U.S. Route 1, is this sculpture of a bull moose standing on top of a slope by the Hampton Inn.

The sculpture is located on the west side of Route 1. It is on the north side of the hotel's driveway and is at the edge of a parking lot.

The installation is a life-sized sculpture of a bull moose, standing erect, with a full antler rack.

The artist, Forest Hart, has a web site that shows the sculptures he can cast. This one is his "The Challenger" series life-sized sculptures that have a wildlife theme. I don't have any idea when this sculpture was created - the date is based on the copyright on the artist's site.
