From Fesitval Hill Website

Since 1971, with the help of its patrons and friends, The James Dick Foundation for the Performing Arts has developed superb year round education and performance programs.

It has also created a unique 210-acre campus – Festival Hill – containing major performance facilities, historic houses, extensive gardens, parks and nature preserves. Through its singular collection of rare books, manuscripts, archival material, music and historic recordings, photographs and objects, Round Top Festival Institute is also known as an important center for research and scholarly study.

Guided walking tours of Festival Hill led by expert docents are available for tour groups. The 90-minute campus tour includes the campus grounds, the Festival Concert Hall, the David W. Guion and Anders and Josephine Oxehufwud Museum Rooms, the Edythe Bates Old Chapel and the Menke House parlors. Also offered is a 90-minute walking tour of the lush Festival Hill Gardens conducted by our resident horticulturist, 10-person minimum applies. Low-heeled walking shoes are recommended for all tours.

The cost of a tour is $10 per person, with a discount of $2 per person for groups of 10 or more. A combined tour of the campus and gardens is $12 per person, 10-person minimum applies. You may combine your tour with lunch at the Menke House if your group includes 10 or more. Meal prices start at $14.99 per person plus sales tax and service fee. Bus tours are welcome; bus driver’s fee is complimentary.

Reservations are required for all guided tours. To arrange a tour, send an email to vickieh@festivalhill.org or call 979-249-3129 and ask for Vickie.
