Port Howe's post office is on the very northwest edge of the village, on the northeast side of Highway 6.

Port Howe is almost a coastal town, situated near the mouth of River Philip on the north coast of Nova Scotia. Actually, one can't really call Port Howe a town, as it consists of only a few buildings, which include a lobster vendor, a food market & inn and the post office.
Given its location, we surmise that the community has a fishing fleet, as essentially all towns on or near the coast do. The post office is a pretty standard brick building, of the type built throughout Canada in the 60s and 70s.
