The center is located in a railroad station, located by Commercial Street, which runs on along the south side of the U.S. Route 1 Bridge over the Kennebec River. Parking is located near the station.
The entrance is on the east side of the station, which is a brick structure 1 1/2 stories tall, with a cupola on the peaked roof.
