A bronze tablet located on the ground floor inside the south entrance to the Connecticut Capitol building honors the women from Connecticut that led the fight for women's suffrage.

In 1934, Connecticut's Governor Wilbur Cross unveiled a tablet honoring 31 Connecticut women pioneers in the struggle for women's suffrage. The tablet contains a three column list of the names of Connecticut suffragettes. It is inscribed:

Visitors can tour the Connecticut Capitol Building by entering the west entrance. The building is open for visitors Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Guided tours are available at quarter past the hour until 13:15. Self-guided booklets are available on the first floor.
