The unexpiated murder in the shade of Minster
25 years ago the student Rafael Blumenstock was killed in the middle of Ulmer Innenstadt. The culprit is unknown till this day. However, the act is not closed yet.
On the night of 4th of November, 1990 a local resident on the minster place hears several loud shouts. When she looks from the window, she sees three men who rise in a sports-car and drive away. The next morning an employee of the town cleaning makes an awful discovery. Between flower tubs and a parked car lies the distorted corpse of a young man. It concerns the 28-year-old student of music Rafael Blumenstock.
The culprit or the culprits had gone forward with extreme brutality. The victim showed 21 sting and cut injuries in the whole body. Several stings in the heart were deadly. Maybe new possibilities of the forensic science and a genetic fingerprint give an understanding of the police of the solution of the case? With the securing of evidence 25 years ago policemen had guaranteed dirt under a fingernail of the victim. Years later these tracks are examined by decision of the district court of Ulm on usable DNA material. Really the investigation proves that the genotype tracks of another person came – possibly from the culprit. As a result DNA signs are balanced by more than 100 possible suspects with the discovered pattern. A blood test is deprived the Federal Criminal Police Office even in Spain with a man.
