In Stockton Springs, within the Fort Point State Park, is this sign orienting you to the landmarks within the park.
The park is located on a point on the west side of the Penobscot Bay. From US Route 1, turn off at signs for the center of Stockton Springs. On the north side of the center is a road with a sign pointing to the park. Follow the road and signs to the park entrance.
The park is not very large. The sign is visible from the parking lot and is next to ruins of Fort Pownall.
The sign is a historical sign about the fort. The map is an inset at the lower left corner.
There are picnic tables, and short trails and a fog bell to explore.
