After his term of service was up, he re-enlisted and worked his way up to the rank of Colonel (Col.). The above information was summarized from a Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) application submitted by Frederick E. Page, a lawyer and genealogist, of Bingamtonton, NY, in March 1953, and approved by the SAR."
