Negrazón and Chaveta, cretaed by founder and illustrator of 'La Papa de Hortensia' magazine Alberto Pío Augusto Cognigni (1930-1983), are cartoon characters representing typical "guasos" (low class scholars from town Cordoba) with very specific sense of humor. They were created by Cognigni in 1971 and became soon extremely popular in Argentina...

The statue this inseparable couple on their beloved "Pumarola" moped, work of sculptor Pablo Irrgang, was unveiled in October 22, 2013.
