[cs] Lis byl až do konce 19. století jediným vinarským strojem vubec. Sloužil k získávání štávy z hroznu révy vinné. V prubehu let vznikly dva základní typy lisu – vývojove starší kládový a novejší vretenový. Kládový lis byl vynalezen v Recku už v období tesne pred pocátkem našeho letopoctu a nekteré jeho typy dosahují kolosálních rozmeru.

Over the years it has produced two basic types of presses - evolutionarily older and newer chain-spindle. Chain-press was invented in Greece already in the period just before the onset of AD and certain types reaching colossal proportions.
