This tall sculpture in front of the Reykjavik Art Museum - Kjarvalsstadir, is about 30 feet tall. It has a rectangular bas that narrows to a very thin section before widening into a diamond shape and again narrowing with a box like shape at the top. Two long pieces hang from the top.
The artist of this bronze 1971 work is Sigurjón Ólafsson and it is entitled "Minnismerki um ninu Tryggvadottur" which Google translates as "Monument to Concentrate Loyal Daughter".
