Veterans Memorial Park was completed in 2012. In addition to this granite and marble memorial there are several other cairns and cenotaph honoring Penticton Veterans, firefighters and officers of the RCMP.

The Penticton War Memorial is eight sided and upright in design. Made of granite and marble it is supported by a steel framework structure and is about 12 feet in height. It was placed by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 40 of Penticton in November 1984.

It honors the veterans of WWI, WWII, Korea, and Afghanistan.

As part of the south side there is a marble inscribed section devoted to the Afghanistan-Iraq War. There is one hero listed.
