This mark is cut into the stonework of the north gate post of the northernmost entrance to the grounds of the Fitzwilliam Museum.

 The mark has a bolt that is not mentioned in the Ordnance Survey online database. The mark has "faded" considerably which is probably due to pressure washing to clean the stonework.
