"Gules a Patriarchal Cross pattee Argent and in chief a Mullet of the same." (Flags of the World)

The flag was introduced in 1803 when the area joined Switzerland and Wallbach became an independent municipality. The patriarchal cross is a reference to the abbey of Säckingen who owned the parish in Medieval times. The mullet of six points was added in 1930, I have no documentation of its meaning.

I found this flag at the town hall, together with the flags of Switzerland, Aargau, and Fricktal. The latter is no official flag anymore; the canton of Fricktal, that only existed between 1802 and 1803, consisted of today's Aargau districts Rheinfelden and Laufenburg.
