County of motel: Warren County
Location of motel: Veterans Memorial Parkway (Old US 40), Wright City

This was the nicest motel in Wright City during the hay-day of the US 40 traffic. It had a service station next door (Shell Station), and just east of that the Big Boys Restaurant. Today, Big Boys is gone, condemned by the EPA, and was razed about 2000. It was all-you-can-eat chicken dinners, and family dining. Very popular. St. Louisians would make a weekend trip just to eat at Big Boys.

So this motel drew well. The biggest motel was closer to town and is still open as the Super 7, but this was the nicest.
The office is the free standing building, and the rooms were further back from the highway in a row. The building in front is added when it became a storage facility.
