EN: The Fire Department of Wallbach is located in the village center near the town hall. The elongated two-storey building has garages and other rooms for the fire department in the ground floor; upstairs there are apartments.
The founding history of the fire department is not documented. It is only known that at the beginning of 1808 a new fire engine was purchased. Hence it is obvious that the fire department already existed in 1807, so that in 2007 the 200th anniversary was celebrated. In 2008, the fire brigade merged with that of Mumpf into the firefighters Unteres Fischingertal.
DE: Die Feuerwehr von Wallbach befindet sich im Dorfzentrum in der Nähe der Gemeindeverwaltung. Das langgezogene zweistöckige Gebäude hat die Garagen und die anderen Räume der Feuerwehr im Erdgeschoss; im Obergeschoss befinden sich Wohnungen.
Die Gründungsgeschichte der Feuerwehr ist nicht dokumentiert. Es ist nur bekannt, dass zu Beginn des Jahres 1808 eine neue Feuerspritze gekauft wurde. Also musste die Feuerwehr schon 1807 bestanden haben, so dass man im Jahr 2007 das 200-Jahr Jubiläum feierte. 2008 schloss sich die Feuerwehr dann mit jener von Mumpf zur Feuerwehr Unteres Fischingertal zusammen.
