This hydrant is easy to miss as you're driving through the neighborhood. It's hiding in the juniper bush watching the cars come down the street. This is the first painted hydrant we've found in Belmont that is dated and "signed" by the painters. It is also numbered 426. It looks like it may still have the original paint job from over thirty years ago.
