J. Rolland Brothers was born during the Civil War, on July 31, 1864 and died October 20, 1916.

His headstone is a Woodsmen of the World headstone that includes the additional inscription "Magnolia Camp No 54".

I'd love to learn more about this mysterious Magnolia Camp No 54; there was a Camp Magnolia in the Civil War, but Mr. Brothers was just an infant in the Civil War, so he would not have been there. There was a Conscientious Objector camp in WWII called Camp Magnolia, but he died before WWII. Any info would be interesing!
Was the inscription legible?: Yes
