I located an obituary from the The Desert Sun for Cydney Breen and it reads:

Cydney "Cy" Erwin Breen, died on June 24, 2012. Cy was born in Sommerville, New Jersey on February 8, 1912, to Richard Breen (Riga, Russia) and Iva Gale (Argentina). He is survived by his loving wife Clarissa "Cooch" Klein, his son Barry Breen, daughter Candice Breen, grandson Richard Max Breen, granddaughters Viki (Frank) and Sherine (Steve), his great-grandchildren Nick, Noah, and Shelby. He was preceded by his son Richard Dale Breen and daughter Karen Breen Jones. Cy has 4 stepchildren Jamie (Susan) of San Clemente, Calif., Greg (Linda) and step-grandchildren Matthew and Madeline of Rancho Mirage, Calif., and Ami (Darin) and step-grandchildren Taylor and Kacey of Cathedral City, Calif. Cy was preceded by his step daughter Jody, Klein of Norco, Calif. Cy attended school of Blythville, Arkansas. His junior high and high school days were spent in Pine Bluff and Little Rock, respectively. He attended the University of Arkansas and during that time worked at the Majestic Theater in Little Rock, where he was able to catch the free shows put on by the likes of cab Calloway and Ben Bernie. Cy owned a boat yard where he met Roy Rogers. Cy became Roy Roger's co-pilot for 35 boat races of which they won. Roy and Cy were great friends for 65 years. Cy sold his boat yard and opened his own camera shop in Westwood, Calif. He later sold that shop and became VP of Executive Car Leasing. He went on to manage both the Encino and Palm Springs offices. He held that position for over 33 years. Cy opened his own camera shop in Cathedral City. He finally retired from the car leasing business in 1995. He sold his Cathedral City camera business in 1998, at age 94. Cy was also an accomplished artist. He and his first wife, Catherine, were married in 1935. Cy and Catherine celebrated 60+ years together. Cy joined Rotary in 1945. It was shortly after that that he met the founder of Rotary International, Paul Harris. Cy held all of the major local and district offices within Rotary, i.e. club president, Assistant Governor, and Governor. Cy was the oldest living active Rotarian. He served Rotary for 65 years. Since Cy turned 90 he played his age in the number of golf holes each year for breast cancer and raised over $100,000. Three months ago he at 100, proudly finished 100 holes of golf in one day. Cy will be greatly missed by his family and all who met or knew him. We want everyone who knew him to attend his "Celebration of Life" Saturday July 7, 2012 at 11am at Our Saviors Church, 1020 East Ramon Road in Palm Springs. In lieu of flowers please make donations to: The Rotary Foundation, 14280 Collections Center Dr., Chicago, Ill. 60693 or to the Jody Klein Breast Cancer Fund for City of Hope, 67888 Marilyn Circle in Cathedral City.
