In Schömberg, Germany, Baden-Württemberg exist the sculptures of the traditional figures of the 'Schömberger Fasnet' (Carneval of Schömberg). They are located at the intersection of 'Schweizer Straße' and 'Alte Hauptstraße'.
The group of sculptures exists of four.
They are created life-sized and consist of bronze. They have been created by Günther Dietrich in 1998.
The local 'Fasnet' (Carneval) has a long tradition in Schömberg. The local carneval club 'Narrenzunft Schömberg' was founded in 1922. But the tradion of carneval is much older.
