This Civil War history sign is at an old plantation that has been converted to an outdoor museum where relocated structures from surrounding area have been gathered and are available for viewing.

The location was also impacted by the Civil War, since Ashley’s Mill was the location of the 1863 Little Rock Campaign conducted by Union General Frederick Steele that led to the fall of Little Rock in 1863.
