Die Fontäne im Teich kann eine Höhe von bis zu 8 Metern erreichen. Sie kann von den neuen Bänken an der Teichuferanlage aus bestaunt werden.
Sie wurde 1977 vom Lions-Club Neumünster und dem Rotary-Club Neumünster zum 850. Geburtstag der Stadt gespendet.
Die Kosten für den Betrieb der Fontäne im Vulkanstil und der seit rund zehn Jahren zusätzlich installierten Beleuchtung übernimmt die Stadt.

The fountain in the pond can reach a height of up to 8 meters . It can be admired by the new benches on the bank of the pond.
